SC/ST Committee

As per the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, No.33 of 1989 dated 11-09-1989, Committee for SC/ST is constituted in S.M.V.M.Polytechnic,Tanuku to prevent commission of offences of atrocities against the members of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes. The Committee comprises of the following members:

  1. Sri Y.Rajendra Babu, Principal – Chairperson
  2. Dr.P.V.V.Satyanarayana, HEEES – Member
  3. Sri D.V.Subba Rao, HECES – Member
  4. Sri P.Anji Babu, Lecturer – Member
  5. Smt.G.Srivani, Lecturer - Member

Concerned Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes students and their parents may henceforth approach the Committee for SC/ST for any complaints that comes under the preview of the above act.
